This Privacy Policy explains how Soritok ("Soritok", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit this website (the "Site") and reserve a founding membership. By using the Site you agree to this Policy.

1. Who we are

The Site is operated by Samuel Kirby, a registered business in Australia. For any privacy question or request, contact us at hello@soritokapp.com.

2. Information we collect

  • Payment & contact details. When you reserve a founding spot, payment is processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your email address and card details and shares your email and purchase information with us. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Usage & analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Site. This collects information such as pages viewed, button clicks, your approximate location (derived from IP, not stored in full), device and browser type, and referral source. It uses cookies and similar technologies.
  • Technical logs. Our host, Cloudflare, automatically logs standard request data (IP address, timestamp, user agent) to deliver and protect the Site.

3. How we use your information

  • To process your founding reservation and send your receipt and launch updates.
  • To measure how the Site performs (the visit → reserve → checkout funnel) and improve it.
  • To respond to your messages and refund requests.
  • To keep the Site secure and prevent fraud and abuse.

Our lawful bases (where the UK/EU GDPR applies) are performance of a contract (processing your order), legitimate interests (analytics and security), and consent (non-essential cookies, where required).

4. Cookies & analytics

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. You can refuse non-essential cookies via your browser settings or any consent prompt shown to you, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out browser add-on. The Site functions without analytics cookies.

5. Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers that run this Site, each under their own privacy terms:

We do not sell your personal information. Some of these providers may process data outside your country; they rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards where required.

6. How long we keep it

We keep order and contact records for as long as needed to honour your founding reservation, issue refunds, and meet legal and accounting obligations. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings. If your reservation is refunded and you ask us to, we will delete your contact details except where we must keep a transaction record.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know and to delete, and not to be discriminated against for exercising them. To exercise any right, email hello@soritokapp.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy as the product develops. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify reserved members by email.
